Hotel Fire & Theft Protection

While you are a Member of our Service and a registered guest at any hotel worldwide, Hotel Fire &
Theft Protection will reimburse you for the (then current) cash value of your personal property if it
is lost or damaged as a result of fire or theft at the hotel at which you are staying. You are protected
up to a maximum of £150 per claim and a maximum of £300 per Year in total.

You are protected up to a maximum of £150 per claim and a maximum of £300 per Year in
total.
This protection is in excess of any expenses that are reimbursable by the hotel. You must also have
used all reasonable endeavours to obtain redress or compensation any insurance policies available to you.

Your claim must be submitted as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from the date of the incident.

Hotel Fire & Theft Protection does not cover the following:
- Loss or damage due to wear and tear.
- Your negligence or recklessness, e.g. by leaving your hotel room unlocked or not using the hotel safe.
- Fraudulent, dishonest or other criminal acts committed by any person to whom the property may have been entrusted.
- Cars, motorcycles, boats, motors, bicycles or other vehicles, or related accessories.
- Portable phones, household furniture, merchandise for sale or exhibition, cash, currency, coins,
stamps, securities, tickets, passports, visas, deeds and other documents, contact lenses, furs, jewellery,
prosthetic devices, perishables, consumables and animals.
- Consequential costs, such as locksmith costs where your keys are lost.
